Genre: Short film

Year: 1912

Description: Shots of the city of Girona: the houses, the Onyar river, the steps of the Cathedral, the church of Sant Feliu, Les Rambles, Pont de Ferro (the iron bridge) and a number of shots showing people walking in the streets of the old town. At the end, we see Banyoles lake and the nature surrounding it, with a shot of rowing boats on the lake at sunset. After a period at Pathé (1905 to 1910), Chomón returned to Barcelona and made a series of documentaries capturing a number of Spanish cities for posterity. This is an example of his outdoor cinematography.
